Professor Dr. Roy (Lead Guest Editor)
Professor Dr. Roy is the Department Chair/Head of Public Health and Head of Research and Innovation at Management and Science University. In his 15 years of vast experience, he served as Deputy Dean, Chairman of Medical Research and Ethics, and Program Head of Master in Healthcare Management at Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia. Dr. Roy is an award-winning researcher with an international reputation for excellence and innovation. He is an editorial board member in several international journals, and his 100+ original research works and books are published in various high-impact journals. His research focuses on epidemiology, health promotion, public policy, research methodology, communicable and non-communicable diseases, environmental health, nutrition, aging, quality of life, social and behavioral health, and healthcare management.
Dr. Roy is also the Vice-President of the International Association on Public Health, which empowers and engages Public Health professionals worldwide to improve the quality of health life and disseminate scholarly work to raise awareness globally. He, being CEO and Founder of the World Research Statistics and Publication Centre (WRSPC)- a globally recognized center that provides cutting-edge research solutions- has significantly contributed to advancing rigorous and reproducible research across the data, social and health sciences. He is one of the executive board members of Fight Cancer Global (USA) and the International Coordinator of Education Against Tobacco in Southeast Asia. He recently led ground-breaking research on mental health and quality of life during the COVID-19 pandemic across 45 countries. Dr. Roy earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University, Philippines. He completed his Master of Public Health at the same university where he graduated with the highest Latin Honor- Magna Cum Laude. Also, he has Commonwealth Executive Master in Business Administration in Malaysia and was honored with the Outstanding Post-Graduate Thesis Award. He obtained his Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Methodology in Malaysia and Post Graduate Certificate in Distance Education at the University of the Philippines. He has been supervising University students from undergraduate to Ph.D. levels and has been awarded as the Best Research Supervisor many times. As a Monash University Full Scholar, Dr. Roy is in the final year of his Ph.D. in Public Health at Monash University, Australia. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Education in Malaysia as a full scholar.

Also, he is currently an Associate Professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. His research focuses on blended learning, online learning, the flipped classroom, social media networks, thinking development skills, problem-based learning, teaching methods, the use of technology in education, and sustainability in education.

Muhammad Awais Bhatti, PhD, MBA, is an Associate Professor in the College of Business, King Faisal University, Hofuf, Saudi Arabia.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accountancy; a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Information Technology; and a Ph.D in Training and Development. His areas of expertise include employability skills, Sustainable employment, human resource development, and human resource management. Dr. Bhatti has also designed training programs for executives around the world, reviewed articles for the European Journal of Training and Development, and published widely in the fields of training and development, internationalization, e-learning, and business research. Mag. (FH) Petra Heidler, BEd MSc MBA PhD, studied at the International Management Center Krems, European School of Economics Rome, holds a Master’s degree at the University of Vienna and Danube University Krems, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy and is trained psychotherapist in hypnosis. In her past 20 years she worked professionally in Human Resources in international companies, and in the Health and Social sector. Her areas of expertise include human resource management, public health, psychotherapy, vocational education, organizational learning, work psychology, mental health, and wellbeing. She is Lecturer at the IMC University of Applied Science Krems, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, University for Continuing Education Krems, University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, Tashkent State University of Economics Uzbekistan, Hainan Tropical Ocean University China, Researcher, Psychotherapist in Hypnosis, CEO at Therapie-Begleitung.at and speaker at national and international conferences.
